This is such a great moment in DSE,as they have started Online Trading today!!!! Some of us have been dreaming about this since 2007…………..At last,our dream is filled,though OT has still a lot farther to go. Well,something is better than nothing………. 🙂

It is funny that just when I started to work on the idea of automation of trading,DSE has just declared that they will start Online Trading. What an interesting coincidence!!!
At present,I am working on a BOT,which can automatically submit order. This is just at its very primary stage. But it successfully does submit buy/sell orders to a webpage!! As an experiment,I used the SB’s contest page. As you may see in the pic below,I automatically loginto SB site,get to the Contest Page,select the symbols,submit the buy order,and buy the share………………All these things are done only by one/or two click…………..I just click on “Log In” and Then,”Ready”. That is all. And it does everything automatically. I was testing it today,and it placed all buy orders successfully,and there is around 95% accuracy rate in its placing orders!
So,the work is simple : get a buy/sell signal from a Trading System(Oh,that is also done to an extent),and submit the order automatically……….!!!
Following application is a very tiny step to a very big and complex one………..And this was SUCCESSFUL. Hopefully,as the time goes by,things will get better and stronger!!
Nasim Bhai has just updated his nice tool “Index Grabber”(General Index),and added a new feature. With that feature,one can manually add Start and End Time of DSE. This way,any time can be set for DSE,and hence in future,General Index tool will not have wrong calculations for time change in DSE……………..
Those who have been using Index Grabber of Nasim bhai should get the updated one from the link here. The old Index Grabber is not working correctly anymore due to the new starting time of DSE. So,it is better to use the new one…

This year,a lot of things have changed in my personal life and trading life!!! Due to those changes and new experiences,my views of trading have changed too(I guess,forever)!!!
After nearly eight month’s pause,recently,I am too much involved in DotNetFrameWork(both VB.net and C#)!!! And I am trying to change a lot of my past tools(past mistakes),and add some interesting features to them,like Database!!!
I am an ardent lover of Data Storing. I hate it when I lose a data/file in my PC!!! One mistake I made in my journey to trading world is not to keep my datas/files stored in an organized way(though I burn a lot of DVDs to save things).
All I cared about was AMIBROKER. And I was a nuisance in doing so.
This year,I realized that there are more important things than Amibroker. And I am just not complete with all the cute and appealing AFLs,Strategies,trading tools…………….
I feel that I need more,something more stable,more working,more effective,more……………….!!!
Recently I am working on a project,which I believe,will change my trading styles forever……………!!

The project that started as an Account Manager turning out to be a complete application for things like : Money Management,Trading System,Automated Trading,etc…………………!!!
Why such a thing? Well,clearly,if you want to implement Van Thurp’s strategies in real trading,you can’t do that with Amibroker…………..Yeah,we can draw stuffs in Amibroker……………But then?
Let’s think about MT4’s world……………. 😉
Or,why should I be completely dependent on Amibroker,whereas I am aware that I can build an application that I could customize to suit my own trading purposes? Yes,we can create our own TRADING APPLICATIONS,which we could customize as wished. We could add as many necessary features to our created application,add strategies to it,and most importantly,going forward,we could make it automated when DSE starts “Online Trading”…………THINK ABOUT IT!!!!
I want to become completely AUTOMATED. I want an application that will automatically count the stoploss for me,exit price for me(according to my criteria!!!!),show me if my equity’s progress,implement trading strategies on my behalf,will have all types of data on demand,and not only that,it will be able to automatically submit orders in future,when(and if ever)DSE goes online with their online trading……………..!!!
Am I AMBITIOUS in my endeavor of creating a monster? I don’t know……………But I am being REALISTIC!!! And I am just EVOLVING…………!!!!

Here is the glimpse of the application I have been working on for nearly two weeks……..!! It is just at its infancy,at a very very basic level……………But I know,I am gonna make it a monster oneday-Yes,I will,even if it takes one year or two…………!!!!
